Save your Fort Erie SPCA

Save your Fort Erie SPCA
The Issue
The Town of Fort Erie has recommended that Lincoln County Humane Society be awarded our Animal Control Services Contract. A contract we have serviced for 50 years plus. The Fort Erie SPCA contract bid was slightly higher, but we believe we are the best value as our building is local, our staff are local and well trained. We are equipped and able to attend emergency calls for animals in distress within 10-20 minutes 24 hours a day/7 days a week.
We are asking for your support and need your signatures and hopefully we can all save your Animal Shelter. Fort Erie needs a Shelter and the services we provide. Dogs and cats found running at large will be sent to Lincoln County to be picked up by their owners and Dog License monies will be collected by Lincoln County. We wish to continue to service our community, to be locally available to accept unwanted animals, injured animals and assist animals in distress. Losing the Town Animal Control Services Contract means a huge revenue loss and the ultimate closure of our facility forever. Please Help Save your Shelter.
We have continually strived to support and serve the Town of Fort Erie since 1954 and would love to continue on our mission to "Speak For Those Who Cannot Speak For Themselves".
Please reach out to the Mayor and your local Councilors before the May 9th council meeting.
Thank you!
