It has been reported that libraries across the city are under threat due to Birmingham City Council's financial difficulties.

Yardley Wood Library provides an essential service to the community beyond lending books. It helps people of all ages to learn, study and develop; particularly children and those without internet access. The library is a place for community groups, for adult education services, for getting debt advice from citizens advice, for meeting your local councillors, for activities for children, and is a shelter for those who need a warm, safe space.

We believe that Yardley Wood Library should be saved.
