Local Complainers fighting to save the Historic Railway works hard the news on Thursday about the possible listing of the Agora building.

The Railway works has been a major part of the town and the very reason the wolverton is even here. The carriage electronic lighting system was invented at wolverton as well as slip coaches. The Royal Train coaches where also built at wolverton.

For some reason wolverton works already plays second place to Bletchley park but without the works helping with making parts of the machines for Bletchely park we may never have won the war.

I can believe weeks before the stripping out work is due to take place Historic England are now deciding on if this shit building should be listed. This comes a month after i got a email stating the works will not be listed. If Historic England list this building then wolverton will be stuck with it for ever. I have already sent a complaint email to the secretary of state and historic england stating if the can not list the Railway works an historical site then the Agora should not be listed. If they list the Agora building then it makes a mockery of the whole listing system.

I feel that if the Agora get listed then the town council local mps and Mk council should fight to list the works and not stand by and let it go.
