WOLVERTON WORKS
What has happened to wolverton works the most famous works in the world?
In July 2017 a single story office and toilet block was illegally demolished at wolverton works against what St Modwen promised.
The office of toilet block was part of the east repair shop. When brought to the attention of the case officer in charge of the modwen application he was shock.
After a week or so Modwen was make aware of what they have done, Modwen just said this was an error and they were sorry. Modwen was then told they had to submit a application for the demolition (Which was Granted) so Modwen have got away with the demolition which in itself should have brought the whole application into question can they be trusted how did the demolition go undetected from Modwen.

On the 25th of September 2017 the application went before the developments committee for a 3rd time at tex payers expense. This was a waste of time and money as the dcc blanked Historic England and other objectors and still passed the application. so what was the point why has Historic England been ignored? I send an complaint to the managers of the dcc to which i got a rubbish response. December 2017 saw the application great the official go ahead
We would like to know what is going on within the dcc and mkc why are they bending over for St Modwen.
People have asked are they being blackmailed or getting hand outs. Truth is no one know if this is the case but given that any one can see the corruption between mkc dcc and modwen i should say money must be changing hands.
Any one who reads through the documents from st modwen has picked out lies, mistakes, It is a case that they want the works gone as they can get more money from the site plus contractors to demolish the site will pay loads of money as the price of the scrap metal etc on site is worth maybe millions.
Knowing that the first case officer on the application was dead against the demolition he has now vanished.
The current officer seems to say what needs to be said but seems to side with Modwen. But he has now left the council completely
Another interesting fact is that the person in charge of the dcc was due a pay rise at the end of the year 2017 so it looks good to grant this application.
The level of corruption around this application is so great i am wondering if the law is being broken I feel the police should now be brought in. The councils planning and development dept have not tested any of the claims made by st modwen or knorr bremse. Both dept's claim that no wrong doing has taken place but when asked did you go to knorr bremse and ask them to lift a carriage off it's bogies? no answer (this was proven by objectors in September 2018 that carriages are in fact lifted off their bogies and placed on stilts to be worked on) Also asked was have you asked knorr bremse to show you how they balance the wheels which modwen say can not be done due to uneven floors? no answer and again ( this has proven that there is no problem with balancing the wheel sets) When asked have they asked knorr bremse why they can not take the train straight into the workshop instead of split them into separate carriages? again no answer. Fact is each train going into the carriage washing shed then into the lifting shop then they are split so modwen saying the building are not in the right places is more lies.
WHAT DID KNORR-BREMSE SAY?
This is a very interesting question as Knorr-Bremse have not gone public with anything regarding it's wolverton site.
When asked on twitter the question falls on deaf ears emails to Knorr-Bremse get ignored.
This may be because Knorr-Bremse have not announced new contracts with enough work for 2 more years. Is knorr-bremse staying or going? This is what we asked in mid 2017
Why have Knorr-Bremse and Modwen failed to maintain the buildings on site it is their legal duty of care to keep the buildings maintained and safe for the workers and visitors but allowing the old sawmill and smithy buildings to collapse both companies have broken the law. What is being done about this nothing they just leave the buildings to rot let kids get in there.
Now as from 1st November 2018 Mutares now lease the site as knorr bremse said bye to the rail section.
Will Mutares keep the whole site or will they be bullied into a smaller workshop by St modwen? time will tell
