Save Wolverines in Norway

The last round of Predators Settlement in Parliament has opened for helicopter hunting and the use of sharp shots.

Several wolverines were shot from helicopters, including mothers with cubs.

As late as Saturday was a wolverine female shot on the border between Steinkjer and Snåsa

Sheep farmers and herders cheer, but hunting from a helicopter is completely unacceptable.

Norway has agreed, by signing the recommendations of Bern convention, to recognise that wild fauna constitute a natural heritage of aesthetic, scientific, cultural, recreational, economic and intrinsic value that needs to be preserved and handed on to future generations, and recognised the essential role played by wild flora and fauna in maintaining biological balances.

Wolverines are included on the Global/UCN Red List.
Listed as endangered on the Norwegian Red List, with very small population.

Please help the Wolverines by signing this petition

Thank you
