The UCDSB wants to close Wolford Public School along with other schools in rural communities and send our kids to already over populated schools and cram them into portables.  The board states that by consolidating schools it will offer our kids better educational opportunities, we need to prove that this is not the case.  Our kids thrive in the positive environment of a rural community school, where teachers know all kids, all kids big and small help each other out and where we all support one another as a big family.

This not only affects Wolford School but all other local schools as well, and our community as a whole.

Please sign this petition to help us stop the closure of Wolford Public School and also please fill out the board survey at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/BFFPAR to voice your concerns.

Please help spread the word.  We will also have paper petitions at local businesses through out the Merrickville-Wolford community and be sending out information packets.

There will be a Rally to Save Wolford School of Saturday November 5th from 2-4pm at the school, please attend and spread the word.

The first public meeting with the board to state our case is on November 16th @ Perth DCI, please everyone come out wearing the school colors of red and white, anyone needing a ride, we can work on car pooling.

Any questions or if you would like to join the fight, please email savewolford@outlook.com

Thank you
