Dear Supporters of the Save Withers Community Library
The petition, online and in print, has collected more than 1,300 signatures.
A huge thank you for your support!
The petition is being tabled at the next city ordinary council meeting to be held
this Tuesday, 25th February from 5:30 pm.
If you can, please make yourself available and join us in the public gallery of the council chambers.
(4 Stephens st, Bunbury; parking at South’s carpark, entry via Prinsep or Wittenoom St)
Although it might appear like a “formality” to some, it is crucial to show the Councillors how important this library is to the Community, by peacefully filling up the public gallery of the Council chambers, sending a strong message to Council that the Electors of Bunbury want the Council to:
1. Rescind the motion 10.3.2 Transition of Services – Withers Community Library
2. Reactivate the Withers Community Library with extended opening hours, activities and programs.
The Ordinary Council Meeting commences at 5.30pm.
Arrive early (5:15pm), as it might give you time to chat to your Elected Community Member (Councillor).
Bring your signage as well.
We hope to see many of you there!
