I have used the childrens centre for 4 years, it is NOT a play centre but much much more. They saved me. I have done a number of courses that have helped me and my family, Freedom for domestic violence, nurturing for parenting, healthy eating courses and a first aid course, my voluntary work helping me get back to work and they have helped with my children for various reasons. The staff I trust 100% and know they are always there for me, they help, they listen and they go out of their way. We need these centres, they are a life line not only for the poorer areas but for the richer too. Don't let the government destroy these wonderful places please.
