Save Wild Horses

Save Wild Horses
The Issue
Dear Community Members,
We are asking for your support in protecting our nation’s wild horses and putting an end to the unnecessary trapping and removal of these beautiful animals from their natural habitats.
Wild horses are a symbol of freedom, strength, and American history. For generations, they have roamed public lands and represented the spirit of the American West.
Sadly, many wild horses are being rounded up, trapped, and removed from the lands they have lived on for years. These actions often separate families, cause stress and injury, and place the animals into overcrowded holding facilities.
Many people are deeply concerned about what happens to these horses after they are removed. In some cases, horses that are not adopted or sold after multiple attempts may end up being transferred through systems that increase the risk of neglect, slaughter, or being sent to kill buyers and slaughter facilities for meat.
Animal advocates believe stronger protections are urgently needed to prevent wild horses from entering these pipelines.
We believe there are more humane and responsible solutions available. Instead of trapping and removing wild horses, we encourage the use of humane population management methods, habitat protection, and stronger conservation efforts that allow these animals to live freely while maintaining balance with the environment.
By signing this petition, you are standing up for the protection of wild horses and asking leaders and wildlife agencies to:
• Stop unnecessary trapping and roundups of wild horses
• Protect public lands and natural habitats
• Prevent wild horses from entering slaughter pipelines
• Improve oversight and long-term protection for captured horses
• Use humane conservation and population-control methods
• Increase transparency and public involvement in wildlife decisions
Wild horses deserve compassion, respect, and protection for future generations to enjoy. Together, our voices can help make a difference.
Thank you for your support.
