WESTPAC IS CLOSING THEIR WYNNUM BRANCH.

WESTPAC has disappointingly announced that they are walking away from the Bayside. The Bank is permanently closing its Wynnum Branch on Bay Terrace, with the final day of operation being 1 September 2023.

WESTPAC has clearly decided that they no longer love helping Baysiders.

This closure will bring enormous inconvenience to Baysiders that bank with WESTPAC, who will now be expected to figure out how to do all their banking online, or else travel to Capalaba to receive in-person service.

I encourage all customers of WESTPAC to make it known that they are unhappy with the decision to close the Wynnum Branch by signing my petition today!

I'd also encourage Baysiders who bank with WESTPAC to change to a local bank that provides face-to-face service to their customers, such as Bendigo Bank or Bank of Queensland.
