The City Of Alpharetta is currently attempting to tear down Union Hill Park and create a park/trailhead/parking lot in its place because they believe that the current roller hockey rinks are "underutilized and no longer meet the needs of Alpharetta residents." Tearing down the roller hockey rinks that currently stand there will force the young kids and families who currently play roller hockey and box lacrosse there to stop playing their favorite sports. You can help stop the destruction of the rink, and preserve the tradition of sport, and help keep the youth of America active.
