I am writing this petition with a heavy heart to bring attention to the dire situation faced by two innocent huskies in Louisa, KY. As someone who has been personally involved in their care for over a week, I have witnessed firsthand the appalling neglect and abuse they endure on a daily basis. It is our moral obligation to act swiftly and save these helpless animals before it's too late.

These two huskies are left without food and water for extended periods of time by their owners. They are forced to endure hunger and thirst throughout the day, relying solely on the kindness of neighbors like myself who provide them with sustenance multiple times a day. This level of neglect is not only cruel but also violates the State of Kentucky's animal welfare laws.

According to Kentucky state law, outside animals must be provided with shelter, food, and water at all times. The conditions under which these huskies live clearly violate this requirement. Despite numerous reports made by concerned neighbors to Lawrance County Animal Control Officer Jess Perry, no action has been taken thus far as she claims that no law has been broken.

However, it is evident that these dogs are suffering due to their owners' negligence. Without proper nourishment and hydration throughout the day, they face serious health risks such as malnutrition, dehydration, weakened immune systems, organ failure or even death.

We cannot stand idly by while these innocent creatures suffer needlessly. We demand immediate intervention from Lawrance County Animal Control Officer Jess Perry and other relevant authorities to remove these huskies from their abusive environment before it's too late.
