The Issue

For millions of people around the world, TV Time has never been just another app.

It has become a daily companion. A place to keep track of the shows and movies we've watched, discover new favorites, share reactions with fellow fans, and build years of memories around the stories we love.

TV Time made watching television feel less lonely. No matter where we lived, we were never truly watching alone. After every episode, we could laugh, cry, debate theories, celebrate finales, and react alongside thousands of people experiencing the very same story. It transformed watching into something shared, creating one of the most welcoming communities on the internet.

Over the years, TV Time has become more than a tracking app. It has become part of internet culture itself. Millions of users have documented years of their lives through the series and movies they watched. Entire viewing histories, personal milestones, discoveries, and memories live on this platform.

What also made TV Time unique was its incredible attention to detail. It wasn't tied to a single streaming service. Whether we watched on Netflix, Disney+, Prime Video, Max, Apple TV+, Blu-ray, television, or anywhere else, TV Time was the one place that kept everything together.

It told us exactly where we had left off, notified us when new episodes became available, organized every season with remarkable precision, and helped us manage hundreds of shows without ever feeling overwhelmed. Even today, no other app offers such a thoughtful, detailed, and user-friendly experience.

Today, that future feels uncertain.

If financial difficulties are threatening the survival of TV Time, we want its creators to know one thing:

The community is willing to help.

Many of us would gladly pay a modest monthly subscription of just $2 or $3 if it meant preserving the service we love. Others would happily contribute through a donation campaign, similar to Wikipedia's annual fundraising model, if that would provide the support needed to keep TV Time alive.

What we ask is simple:

Be transparent with the community about the situation.

Explore sustainable funding solutions before shutting down or reducing the service.

Give your users the opportunity to help save the platform they have helped build for years.

TV Time is more than an app.

It is our television diary.

It is our memory.

It is a place where friendships have formed through shared passions.

It is where millions of people felt connected while watching stories they loved.

Losing it would mean losing far more than an application. It would mean losing years of memories, discussions, recommendations, and a unique online community that cannot simply be replaced by another service.

If you believe TV Time deserves a future, please sign this petition and share it. Together, we can show that this community is worth preserving.

Save TV Time. Give its community the chance to keep it alive.
