While taxes are increasing for Troy residents by 14%, many services and amenities will be cut that directly impact children and families. 

Please sign this petition to tell the City Council that we value children and families and they need to look harder to find other places to cut to keep the pools open. If the pools close, this Mayor and this Council will be judged by this action for decades to come. A visit to the former Pool at Prospect Park is a harsh reminder of policies that deface our public infrastructure and rob our children of what we ourselves have had. 

The City of Troy operates two public swimming pools, the South Troy Pool and Knickerbacker Pool and spray pools at Frear, Prospect, and Knickerbacker Parks. These pools are safe places for kids to play and for seniors to stay cool and active in the summer, providing an invaluable public service. Don't let Troy fall down on its values when we are on the way up in so many ways!
