Although I'm not a trans person myself I know what it's like, I as a pansexual, know what its like to be ostracized. Transgender people, especially in the United States, are facing a climate of intense political, legal, and social pressure, with new restrictions on rights and access to healthcare at both the federal and state levels. This is fueling increased violence, discrimination, and marginalization.  The constant attacks on rights and access to care have had a devastating effect on the mental health of transgender and LGBTQ+ community. Surveys show a vast majority report negative impacts from the political climate.
