The Gebbie Foundation and the City of Jamestown office of Mayor Kim Ecklund plan to remove The Wine Cellar’s fenced outdoor area—a beloved gathering space for free live music, festivals like Juneteenth, Pride, and Whirlybird, and a hub of community spirit. Removing it will hurt local culture, small business, and park attendance—despite no merit shown for the decision. We urge the city to preserve this space.
