Hello friend of the Windham Path.

The movement to preserve the Windham Path is growing and galvanizing!!

We have a five-part strategic plan to ensure that our cherished Path is preserved while an alternative plan to meet the needs of the Mountain Top Little League is chosen.  And, WE NEED YOUR HELP!!

1)    Continue to expand public pressure on the Windham Town Board to choose a solution so that Windham can have what it deserves – both the Windham Path preserved and an improved ballfield complex for the Mountain Top Little League.

What you can do:  Attend the next Town Board meeting this Thursday, August 22nd at 7:00pm at the Windham Town Hall located at 371 NY-296 in Hensonville.  Whether you’ve already attended a meeting or not, please come!!  Share your reasons for wanting to preserve the Path, ensure transparency of the Town Board and demand responsiveness from our elected officials.

2)  Engage a high-powered attorney to stop any further steps from being taken to build the Mountain Top Little League ballfield complex on the Windham Path.

What you can do:  Make a tax deductible donation to the Windham Area Recreation Foundation (WARF) to support the legal costs to preserve the Windham Path.  Donations can be made on our website at: https://www.preservethewindhampath.com/

3)  Identify viable alternatives for the Mountain Top Little League

4)  Dissuade potential funders from supporting a ballfield complex sited on the Windham Path

5)  Seek a permissive or mandatory referendum
