Hello Friend of the Windham Path,

A core group of people working to preserve the Windham Path made a commitment to promote attendance at every Windham Town Board meeting to make clear to our elected leaders all the myriad reasons that the Windham Path is a critical resource; and to ensure transparency in discussions (hopefully) leading to sound, measured decision making.  To date, we have had a full house at every meeting and the Town Board has continued to hear the community’s profound love for the Windham Path, as well as ideas for alternative solutions for the Mountain Top Little League.

The core group has developed a five-part strategic plan to achieve our goal.  One essential piece of the plan is to expand public pressure on the Windham Town Board to truly value the irreplaceable asset that they have in the Windham Path, and to demand from them that they make the only right decision – to preserve it as it currently exists!!

But, we need your help and the help of new faces!!  Please attend the next Town Board meeting on Thursday, July 11th at 7:00pm at the Windham Town Hall located at 371 NY-296 in Hensonville and bring a like-minded friend!!  Share with our elected leaders what you love about the Windham Path and how important it is to full-time residents, second homeowners and visitors alike.

We also need volunteers to help in a number of areas.  If you’re willing to help out with social media, if you’re an attorney or have a background with environmental law, or if you just have some free time and want to get involved in this important effort, please send us a note to this email address.
