🚨 SAVE THE WATERSIDE – PROTECT THE NEW FOREST BEFORE IT'S TOO LATE! 🚨

The Waterside has always been an inseparable part of the New Forest – a place where ancient woodlands meet the sea, where wild ponies once roamed freely, and where generations have lived with an unbreakable bond to this irreplaceable landscape. But that legacy is under threat.

Southampton City Council is attempting to redraw boundaries, seeking to absorb the Waterside into a sprawling "Greater Southampton." If they succeed, the very identity of this historic region will be erased. The New Forest District Council (NFDC) is fighting to keep our area where it belongs, but they cannot do it alone.

The New Forest is more than just trees and trails; it's a sanctuary for nature, a refuge for rare wildlife, and a way of life for thousands who cherish its peace and beauty. If Southampton takes control, we risk losing:

🔴 Our Forest Heritage – The Waterside has always belonged to the Forest. We cannot let city expansion sever our deep-rooted connection.

🔴 Our Natural Spaces – More urbanisation means more traffic, more pollution, and more destruction of delicate ecosystems.

🔴 Our Voice – If we become part of a city-focused administration, decisions about our future will be made with Southampton’s priorities in mind, not ours.

🚨 THIS IS OUR LAST CHANCE. 🚨 We, the people of the Waterside, must make it clear: We are part of the New Forest, and we will not be absorbed into Southampton!

If you live between Calmore and down to Calshot & Lepe, SIGN THIS PETITION NOW! Let the decision-makers know, loud and clear, where we belong.

👉 Southampton, keep your hands off our Waterside! 👈
