Although our petition continues to gather support, Salisbury University announced yesterday, March 20, 2023, that they intend to proceed with a planned move to the downtown Powell building on Main Street in Salisbury, Maryland.  The announcement threatens an end to the museum as it has been on Schumaker Pond.

Communications with administrative and elected officials continue to reflect interest by the community in opposing this move.  Your signature can still make a difference to the future of the Ward Museum.
