I have dedicated five decades of my life to rescuing horses, many of which were slaughter-bound wild horses. Through gentling and providing sanctuary, the horses we've pulled from the brink have found new homes and a new lease of life. Recently, an inexperienced rescue organization, Red Orchard Animal Rescue  in Loving, Texas posed a tremendous risk to its animals due to lack of proper knowledge and care. They had taken in over 100 animals, including many wild horses, from local feedlots and auction houses but unfortunately failed to provide the necessary care these animals required, resulting in terrible loss. Every life makes a difference and no animal, big or small, should have to suffer due to a lack of knowledge and expertise. It is evident that these horses' lives are in jeopardy and it is time that we, as compassionate individuals, make a stand to save them. Through this petition, we demand that Red Orchard Animal Rescue, Jessica Moreland, surrender all animals in her care and ownership in order to save those that remain from starving to death, as so many have already done. We are committed to ensuring that every animal rescue organization, irrespective of its size or experience, operates based purely on the best interests of the animals.  Red Orchard Animal Rescue (ROAR) , Jessica Moreland, has had adequate time and opportunity to not only handle and rehabilitate these animals, but provide the needed shelter and food required to maintain healthy conditions.  Sign this petition now to support this end. Demand all the horses at Red Orchard Animal Rescue be removed, and charges brought against Jessica Moreland for misappropriation of 501c3 tax deductible donations,  Fraud, and Animal Abuse under Texas Penal Code Sections 42.09 and 42.092 prohibit intentionally, knowingly, or recklessly abusing animals.
