The Campus Drive complex (behind Foxwood) has an accepted offer on it for a 100-unit structure. For anyone keeping track, this is the fourth large-scale structure in the Village in recent years (Memorial Plaza, Grant Street x SMRP, as well as another smaller structure on Washington Ave.) This will undoubtedly increase traffic, make it that much harder for pedestrians and kids to get around safely, and tax the village infrastructure. I proposed a building for special needs adults to live/work in, which could also be utilized as housing for aging residents. If you’re AGAINST this 100-unit structure and what it will do to the community, and support a building that would benefit members of our village who truly have nowhere to go after high school, please consider signing and circulating this petition.
