On August 12th, 2024, a jogger came across a bear cub followed by a mama bear. The mama bear charged the jogger and he managed to get away but did unfortunately sustain injuries. He survived and is now doing well. While this incident is harrowing and we feel sympathy for the jogger, we MUST disagree with California's Fish and Games decision to euthanize this mother who was simply protecting her cub. The euthanization has not occurred as of yet, but we must bring attention to this matter quickly!  Please sign the petition and inform the authorities that we do NOT agree with this decision as a community. Let's save this mama so her babies aren't parentless.
