Despite the passionate advocacy so far, we’ve received confirmation today: the Music Department is scheduled to close in December 2025.

But this is not the end of the story.

💥 Now is the time to MAKE SOME NOISE. 
PLEASE SHARE THIS PETITION FAR AND WIDE. Let’s show the decision-makers that music education matters — to our community, to our future, and to the voices yet to be heard.

📣 There’s still a chance to turn this around. TAFE has indicated they may reconsider — especially the Certificate III in Music — if enough expressions of interest (EOIs) are submitted for 2026.
