An Earnest Request to Sector Authorities

This morning, on my way to school through the relentless rain, I came across a sight that left me deeply disturbed. The gates of CA Market were firmly shut, while several helpless stray dogs roamed about in panic, drenched to the bone, desperately seeking shelter. Their eyes reflected confusion, fear, and a silent plea for refuge — but there was none.

In times of such inclement weather, when the roads are flooded and the skies show no mercy, can we not do the bare minimum of keeping market gates open — not for business, but for compassion?

I humbly request the authorities of all sectors to consider keeping market spaces accessible during heavy rains or storms, so that stray animals have at least one dry corner to rest in. A little kindness can go a long way — even if it simply means leaving a gate open for a soul in need.

Let’s not shut them out when they need us most.
