Dear Supporters,
We are writing to you today with heavy hearts but a glimmer of hope. We have reached 76 signatures, and we are only 24 away from our next milestone. But while the numbers grow, our situation in Egypt remains dire.
A Life in Uncertainty Like many who served alongside the U.S. government, we left our homes, our jobs, and our entire way of life in Yemen because we were loyal allies. We moved to Egypt with a clear expectation and the promise of a path to safety in the United States. Instead, we find ourselves living in a state of exhausting uncertainty without a clear future.
The Toll on Our Families Our children ask us questions every day that we are unable to answer. They were promised safety and a future, yet they see their parents living in fear and psychological stress. It is heartbreaking to tell a child who believes in the "American Dream" that the country we served has left us waiting in silence.
Our cases are active and free of legal issues, yet the process has stalled. We believe the current approach is neither logical nor responsible. We are not just "files"; we are human beings and loyal allies who risked everything. The delay in our resettlement not only harms our families but also damages the international credibility of the United States.
How You Can Help Today: We respectfully request a clear, humane, and timely resolution to our situation. You can help us get there by doing two small things:
Share this petition on WhatsApp, Facebook, and X (Twitter) using the link below.
Tell one friend about our story. Word of mouth is how we will reach the decision-makers.
