For the past five years, every Thursday night at 9 PM, a group of dedicated hockey players, proudly known as the Steelfighters, have gathered to share in the camaraderie and challenge of the sport they love. However, this cherished tradition in Wasaga Beach is at risk. The arena council has decided to remove our ice time, prioritizing outside townships and teams over local residents who have consistently supported and contributed to the community facilities through tax dollars.

The Steelfighters are more than just a hockey team. We are a community, a family united by our commitment to promote sportsmanship and local pride. Year after year, we've represented our town in the NASS tournaments, carrying the flag of Wasaga Beach with pride and distinction.
