Conservation and restoration of the Santa Rosa Plain has been a community priority for over twenty years. The wetlands of the Plain are connected to our Mark West and Santa Rosa creeks and the Laguna De Santa Rosa, which flow directly to the Russian River and out to our coastal waters. Clean, potable water is an inalienable right for all of us, and protecting it from unnecessary pollutants due to runoff and percolation to aquifers requires sustainable management practices.
