I want to Firstly start by saying thank you all for signing onto this petition to save this bridge that many of us rely on. It means so much to me that the community cares about this issue enough to take time out of their day and sign onto this petition. Below this thank you message will be our next steps to keeping this bridge safe, keep reading to know what we can do! 

The Sands Blvd Bridge serves as a key junction for many residents of our City and it is necessary to make our voices heard about this issue! As of right now, the City Council is planning to meet, discuss and possibly vote on this issue at the next City Council general meeting. This meeting takes place on May 21st, at 5:00pm at 1015 Cultural Park Boulevard in the City Council Chambers. Our next steps are informing our fellow neighbors about this issue, getting this petition spread across the Cape and then showing up to that City Council meeting and making our voices heard! If you have time to show up at 5pm please do, let them hear your voice and do not back down! If you are unable to make it, or if you have enough time right now create an email and go to the City of Cape Coral's website and email the City Council members with your concerns and express your wish that this Bridge continues to stay strong!
