Duxbury is moving negotiating with MassDOT over their Design Concept 1 for the Powder Point Bridge. It look pretty good from the side, but there is not enough wood on the deck. If you want to have your voices heard about adding more wood to the deck of the new bridge, please write the following people.

Ed is gathering the communities input to negotiate on behalf of Duxbury, so he's probably your best bet.

You can also contact individual Selectboard members to let them know that you want more wood on the bridge. They are NOT negotiating the design details, but they will make the final decision about whether to move forward with this bridge.

Other design questions include how to make the substructure look nicer and whether to have one or two sidewalks. I've included more detail in my story.
