No Wooden Deck for the Powder Point Bridge Replacement?

MassDOT promised Duxbury something like Chatham's Mitchell River Bridge as a replacement for the Powder Point Bridge. Now, they are refusing to follow through. Instead of a wooden driving deck, they want to give the town an asphalt surface that will fill up with potholes after every storm and smell during the summer. Please contact the Duxbury Selectboard and MassDOT (PowderPointBridgeReplacement@dot.state.ma.us) if you want a wooden driven surface on a new Powder Point Bridge.
