Pocahontas Proponents

This is your reminder that the Board of Supervisors is meeting tonight, beginning at 6pm in the village. Item 14A on the agenda is discussion of a memorandum of understanding, to officially request that the Powhatan School Board turn over ownership of the buildings encompassing the Landmark Center. We are in favor of this, with the understanding that the structures will be saved, rehabilitated, and repurposed to preserve the history and to serve the whole community.

If you are able to attend, you may wish to sign up to speak during the public comment portion-- limited to 3 minutes per speaker within the overall time allotted for commentary.
