Good evening. Interest in the effort to save all parts of the Pocahontas school complex is continuing to grow, as does the list of signatures on our petition.

For those interested and able, you should mark your calendar for this Monday, July 28th, when the Powhatan Board of Supervisors will invite public comment on a memorandum of understanding to pass from the Supervisors to the Powhatan School Board, requesting transfer of "the real property encompassing the Pocahontas Landmark Center". 

Item 14A is the discussion about Pocahontas, and comments will be limited to 3 minutes, per the Supervisors' website. You can go there to find the full agenda.

Alongside this valuable petition, your attendance and your voice can indicate directly to the supervisors and indirectly to the school board what your position is on this matter.
