Temperatures have been reaching deadly record-breaking heights. Countries are experiencing weather and climate that is unnatural for them and it's causing a lot of damage. Heat exhaustion and heat strokes have been becoming more common among the risk of being outside for too long. Temperatures are expected to continue climbing each year while carbon emissions aren't ceasing. Besides the worst case scenarios, the little joys of life are slowly vanishing. Less snow to play in. Less time outside during the summer. More danger in swimming in still lakes and ponds. More beautiful animals are dying along with crops. Fossil fuels are killing the planet along with other bad habits, such as littering and wastefulness. Energy still mostly derives from burning fossils fuels, which increases carbon emissions. This leads to global warming due to greater amounts of greenhouse gases being trapped in the atmosphere. Although we all know of the fears and criticism of nuclear energy, it is one of the cleanest forms of energy-if not the cleanest. Nuclear energy also produces tons of energy and could easily replace fossil fuels. I'd love to feel a cooler Earth and have the peace of mind knowing that our planet, people, animals, crops, countries, and so much more are healthier. Let's make the switch.
