The city of Portland is planning on taking away Portland High School’s home field (Fitzpatrick stadium) and turning it into a soccer league field. as student athletes and students, Fitzy reflects our love, passion, and spirit for the schools 200+ years of history and memories. The students, alumni, parents, and community members had 0 say in whether or not a big part of our culture should be ripped from us. It’s important that we have a piece of Portland to remember as it’s being taken away from us every day. We do not want to feel like guest on our own turf. After thanksgiving, they will begin construction :( Please help us save our field by signing!
