Please sign this petition to tell ACSD1 not to sell and developed the Laramie Athletic Fields (previously Deti Stadium) but rather maintain the fields and stadium for public use. 

 After sharing public knowledge about the sale of the old Deti Stadium my friends, family, students, and acquaintances have reacted with surprise with feeling that range from uncertain acceptance to outrage. The track is used year round from dawn to dusk. Many individuals and different groups use the track and fields such as the Special Olympics, athletic teams, and preschools, and it is used for special events like the color run and other fundraising events. There are people who operate their business with the facilities as their main location for personal training sessions. Each day, residents use the track and fields and this sale has not been communicated to the community effectively.

There is no public land like it in town besides maybe the Aragon Complex on 22nd, but the location and the track and stadium make the Laramie Athletic Fields unique for many of the people who utilize the grounds.
