Did you know that California Sea Lions have the highest cancer rate of any species? A big part of that is from toxins like chemicals and microplastics. 

Adult California Sea Lions have a cancer rate of 25%, the highest of any species, including humans. Things like climate change, plastic pollution, and runoff are the main reasons for toxins to enter the ocean. 

When we use aerosols like cleaning supplies, hairspray, and spray paint, we release toxins into the air that settle into the ocean and make marine mammals sick. We also release microplastics from the bottles and cans, which are bad for animals. 

You can help by buying eco-friendly aerosol products that have low-VOC content. VOCs are Volatile Organic Compounds, and they are toxic to marine mammals. By signing this petition, you're helping to convince cleaning companies like Clorox and Lysol to get better ingredients for their products, and you're doing your part to save hundreds of marine mammals.
