Also, please talk to your friends and family that live in Northport and make sure they are aware of what is going on. The Northport City Council needs to understand that taking this community center and park away from Northport will leave a deep hole in the community. They need to understand how this will affect us for years to come. They also need to understand that it will cause division within communities and it will be their fault. We honestly believe that if they understand the long term affects this will have on their constituents, they will do the right thing. Please help us make them understand that the only people that benefit from the sale of the Northport Community Center and Park are the developers.
