The Northport City Council has decided to sell our beloved Northport Community Center to a developer. This is a place that we all grew up going to for family reunions, birthday parties, music gatherings and so much more. It is used weekly for seniors to gather and listen to music and talk with their friends. It is a place that we all love and do not want to see knocked down for a retail space. The space is being sold for a retail space with condos above it.

Our council needs to listen to the voices of their constituents, but our voices are always squashed at meetings.

We have a very short period of time to fight this. It is time for us to show the council how we feel about our community.

Please sign this petition so that we can show our voices to the Northport City Council. Our voices should matter.

Please help me spread the word to every Northport citizen. We have to wake up and take some initiative for our city.
