SAVE the New York City Horses!

Imagine this for a second....when you walk through New York City, what do you see? You see people hurrying around, tall skyscrapers, food stands, parks, stores, and sad skinny horses pulling people in carriages!

First off, even though they can't speak, horses do have feelings.  What if I told you that you had to work all day in the huge city with barely any food or water!  How would you like that!?

It's cruel and very inhumane - they’re breathing on toxic fumes from the cars, buses, and taxi smoke, the noise is so loud it hurts their ears, they stand all day and pull heavy carts, and worst of all - they get whipped to make them go faster. Horses are not for pulling people!  And it's easily known that when you look into NYC records, many horses die each year from this "job". 

When I was little I used to think it was so cool to go in buggies and it was romantic and happy and fun, which it can be...but now I'm older and realize, it is not for them! 

I'm an equestrian (horse rider) and I have a pony named Teddy.  I take my responsibility as his caretaker and friend very seriously.  So this issue is very important to me - and I want do everything to change this animal abuse issue. 

So what do you say!? Will you help me bring attention to this important issue and SAVE the New York City horses? The more people we get the more people to sign, the louder our voice for these sweet animals.
