As a homeowner residing near Montrose Blvd for over 25 years, I've observed the prolonged stagnation of the Montrose Blvd project. The overdue improvements for infrastructure, walkways, safety, and tree care are crucial for our community. The delay negatively impacts drainage and the well-being of residents. The existing trees demand attention or removal, and the new trees in the plans promise additional shade.

Phase 1, with over 4 years of planning, faces further delays hindering progress. Despite claims from over 8K 'Montrose signatures,' there's been no tangible action or care for the trees, only arguments against TIRZ's efforts for our community.

October 2024 Update

The Mayor has directed the TIRZ to change scope and objectives of the project.

Montrose, with around 33,000 residents, deserves infrastructure projects aligned with our community's needs. Let’s clarify what we want as a community. If you're a Montrose Blvd resident or regular user, your voice matters!

Help and send a short email in favor of original project objectives as originally submitted.
