Aloha, I am making this petition in hopes to gain attention to this popular monk seal breeding location on Oahu’s North Shore, The Ritz recently purchased the hotel turtle Bay, and plans to expand by building  new condos On the beautiful pristine coastline where monk  seals often breed . In fact they breed here more than almost anywhere else on the island. This beautiful creature is almost extinct, it is critically endangered and there are fewer than 1500 in the wild . To see this beach taken over by tourist while the monk seals disappear would be an absolute travesty. Please sign this petition and help us protest this disgusting act!! All we are asking for is a current environmental impact study for the monk seals , instead of the one from 2013 that they are using. We are only asking them to be responsible.
