I have recently received a letter from my county stating that I cannot have livestock on my property. However, I have mini pigs. Per the American Mini Pig Association mini pigs are pets and not livestock. These pigs are my pets.  I have opened my heart to unwanted mini pigs. I have lived at my residence for 15 years and had mini pigs for 10 of those years. Unfortunately a neighbor does not understand that mini pigs are not livestock and are indeed pets just like cats and dogs.  Mini pigs are constantly discarded because people are not fully educated before deciding to have one as a pet.  I have taken these pets when they have no where else to go.  If you know me you know how much I love my pets.  Please sign this petition showing your support in my journey to keep my pets at home.  These pets are bonded to me. It would be devastating for me and my 5 children to lose our pets because our neighbor doesn't understand that they are indeed pets. I have fought this same issue 10 years ago and was allowed to keep my pets and have had no issue since.
