McDonald’s McRib is going Extinct!

New plans put in place by the McDonalds corporation will scale back critical protections for sandwich listed as threatened and will eventually lead to its extinction by November 20th 2022. Profits are now prioritized over the preservation of this wild sandwich—a give-away to greedy corporate profiteers that view our iconic national treasure as a disposable resource.

Think about what's at stake. Without the McRib, the often critically endangered Florida Man might not be roaming wild in the Everglades today…

We know what happens when imperiled sandwiches lose protections: they get eaten, then discontinued, and then wiped out of existence by the next big seasonal promotion.

When iconic fast food gimmicks lose protections too soon, or never get protected at all, they’re pushed faster toward extinction, and some are even called “lucky” if they end up hidden in a basement freezer way past their expiration date, kept in some sort of sandwich limbo, just so a guy can get a little nibble of heaven every now and then.

Demand McDonalds save the mighty McRib, the sandwich that keeps our country's sense of hope alive even in the darkest of times, because it keeps coming back despite all odds. We may be losing this timeless symbol of American endurance forever.
