Marmots (Groundhogs) have been long a part of the Oregon Tech ecosystem. They are a keystone species that brings great livelihood to the Oregon Tech Campus and significant for the health of an ecosystem.

Recently, animal control has been spotted gassing and attempting to exterminate our local marmot population. This is truly a great atrocity and must be stopped. The consequences of removing our Marmot population will be disasterous.
