This petition is meant to give the Marfan and related disorders community an accumulative voice in an effort to express to The Marfan Foundation just how important the "in person" aspect of conference is to every member, new or old. 

   We unfortunately live in a world where we're still seeing individuals of every age pass due to the lack of knowledge about connective tissue disorders and how to identify the signs and symptoms that come along with each of them. 

   While our annual symposiums, Walk for Victory program and galas are essential fund raising and awareness opportunities, they unfortunately lack the crucial life saving resources our "in person" conferences offer to the community. 

   With the news of next year's conference being "all virtual", those who choose to do so can add their names to this petition. In doing so, hopefully we can not only continue to have annual "in person" conferences but we can establish a "virtual network" for those who may not be able to attend. 

   Together we can be the change we want to see and continue to help those diagnosed and undiagnosed, know the signs and fight for victory.
