The District of Muskoka is planning on closing the MacTier Paramedic Station by as early as November 2024!  This will lead to drastically longer response times for the residents of MacTier, and in a medical emergency, every second matters!

MacTier sits in a political "Dead-Zone", On the edge of three different townships, and two different districts.  Because of this, The District of Muskoka seems to think its okay to slowly take away services from us.  First it was the Police, with our "Local" station being in Bracebridge which is 40+ minutes away.  Now they want to take our Healthcare services away too. 

Enough is enough, MacTier is full of tax paying permanent and seasonal residents, Who deserve access to proper healthcare and timely emergency care!  Please let your voice be heard and sign this petition to send a message to your elected leaders that you want the MacTier Paramedic Station to stay open!
