Our Community Needs This Project to Continue
We, the undersigned, call on the National Lottery and the Greater London Authority (GLA) to reinstate the Loved and Wanted Project and support its continuation on the Doddington and Rollo Estate through Skilful Network C.I.C.
 
The Loved and Wanted Project brought something truly special to our estate. It created a safe, welcoming space where residents of all ages, cultures, faiths, backgrounds, and abilities could come together, build friendships, support one another, and feel that they genuinely belonged.
 
In a short space of time, we witnessed the positive difference the project made through its monthly Sunday community gatherings, outreach work, and activities that encouraged inclusion, reduced isolation, and strengthened community spirit.
 
Our estate is one of London's most diverse communities. Projects like Loved and Wanted are not a luxury—they are essential. They help create safer neighbourhoods, improve wellbeing, bring generations together, and encourage residents to become active in shaping a stronger future for everyone.
 
We recognise and appreciate the valuable work that Living Truth CIC continues to do within the community. At the same time, we understand that the partner organisations have proposed that Skilful Network C.I.C.take over delivery of the Loved and Wanted Project so that this successful work can continue without interruption.
 
We believe this offers the best opportunity to preserve everything the project has already achieved and to build on its early success.
