There is a colony of sweet wonderful Feral cats who have made a home at the Bellville Taxi Rank. In the past months they were in danger of being killed due to looking for food in the surrounding rubbish bins, which put them in danger of being killed by people and run over by cars. I then started feeding them, and also organised for them to be sterilised. After they were sterilised, they were taken back - the place is safe and good for the cats. I have been feeding them, and giving them water in the past weeks. Then suddenly I was banned from feeding them because in order for me to reach them, I have to go through the offices, and I was informed that I can't be allowed to go and feed the cats anymore because I'm not an employee there, and I was instructed to give the food to the employees who will feed them. The same employees who couldn't even give them water and some of them have boldly voiced that they don't like cats. I would like to be given permission to just go and see how the cats are doing and feed them and give them water. How are people who don't like cats going to take the time to feed them? This is not fair on the cats.
