Do not let Lower Paxton Supervisors steal this from our local fire company. Linglestown fire company sponsored events at Koons park as far back as 1955. They planned and payed for the fireworks for more than 20 years. Just a few years ago LP asked if they could partner with Linglestown supporting 50% of the cost. This year they want to remove it from Linglestown fire dept altogether. 

LP is dishonorably going against a written agreement. Linglestown sold the park to the township well under value at only $3000 with the agreement they could continue their celebrations on 4 designated days, the Fourth of July was part of that agreement.
